New Work Based Learning for SVQ in Mixed Farming
The SVQ in Mixed Farming will be delivered almost entirely as a work-based learning model with the exception of up to two weeks spent at Oatridge College. Students will be supplied with a blank portfolio template (containing all the necessary assessment tasks to gain the award) and learning notes. They will also be allocated an assessor who will help the student to complete the course. Click here for a list of units being taught.

New Work Based Learning for SSPCA
Working in close partnership with the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Oatridge have developed a bespoke work-based learning programme to suit both their Inspectorate and animal welfare centre workers. Part of this development involved supporting the Society to develop their own in-house assessors, providing them with a unique programme of learning and assessment to suit their job.
