What’s involved in Activity Tourism ?
Meet people who run enterprises like paintballing, mountain biking, canoeing centres – see what’s involved in running these businesses and participate in outdoor activities. Learners on this course will organise and run an outdoor activity event for a small group of people so that you will really get the feel of what’s involved in this specialist tourism sector.
Rural Skills
This is one of Oatridge College’s specialism and through this course you will have the opportunity to explore what’s involved in the landbased industries whether that be in farming, countryside rangering, horticulture, golf courses - through the course we will introduce you to a wide range of experiences that we hope will help you consider training in the landbased industries. Again you should be a resident of West Lothian to apply for this course. (See what’s involved in the course in the link to the right: Introductory Certificate in Rural Skills).
