Overview:

The course provides sound  practical experience in a wide
range of  engineering topics together with technical
knowledge necessary for a career in landbased engineering,
either to gain employment in engineering companies or to
become self-employed.

Duration:

1 academic year. Starts in September.

Career opportunities:

Technician with Agricultural Dealership, Machinery Operator,
Agricultural Contractor.

Entry requirements:

Preferred - 3 Standard Grades or Intermediate 1 qualifications in
English, Maths and another science subject.
Alternative entry qualifications may be accepted at the discretion
of the College.

Further study:

SVQ Level 2 or progression to Level 3 may be possible at the
discretion of the College.
