SVQ Level 3 in Landbased Service Engineering:Agricultural Machinery (SCQF Level 6)

Overview:

This programme is aimed at persons in employment in the industry. Level 3 is for those with practical experience within the landbased industry.

What's involved?:

Recognise and Reduce Hazards,
Organisational Procedures,
Customer Care in Landbased Engineering,
Core Landbased Engineering Principles: Calculations,
Service and Repair: Electronic Control and Monitoring Systems,
Hydraulic Systems and Components, Engines in Landbased Equipment,
Powershift, Hydrostatic, CVT Transmisions,Suspension Systems,
Landbased Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration Equipment.

Modern Apprenticeship:

Can be achieved by candidates completing SVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications plus a short Emergency First Aid course (if required) and one other industry specific certificate. For further details please contact our Business Team: 01506 864800.

Duration:

SVQ Level 3 is delivered over 1 year & is mainly workbased with up to 6 weeks in college.

Supervisory positions and progression within the Landbased Service Engineering Industry.

Entry requirements:

National Certificate or SVQ Level 2 in Landbased Engineering. Relevant industry experience will be considered.
