HNC in Landscape Management (SCQF Level 7)

Overview:

This is an advanced level course. It is particularly suited to people with landscaping, construction or horticultural experience who wish to develop their practical, design, scientific and business management skills.

Duration:

12 credits studied over 1 year; 34 weeks, attendance is 2.5 days per week including a twilight class. Starts in September.

Career opportunities:

Supervisory roles in Local Authorities, Estates, Garden Centres, Nurseries, Landscaping Companies and Self-employment.

Entry requirements:

For progressing students - it is essential to have passed the National Certificate in Horticulture with Landscape Construction & Design.

For new students - At least 1 Higher at Grade C or above in English, Maths, Biology or another subject.

You should be able to demonstrate that you are enthusiastic, hard working, and are prepared to get involved in all aspects of the course - both practical and classroom based. Exceptional entry may be possible at the discretion of the College.
