Rural Skills Academy: Introductory Certificate in Rural Skills
The objective of this programme is to enable young people to progress to further education, training or employment in their chosen field within the landbased sector. The Rural Skills Academy course will provide a mix of skills used in the landscape gardening, environment and conservation subjects.

Training is provided (at Intermediate 1 level) for 2 days per week.
We want to encourage people to come to College on this short course and we will support you by providing free travel to the College on the college bus. The course is for 12 people, and is aimed at 16 - 24 year olds. However if you are not in this age group you should still apply.
Progression to full time "Certificate in Land-based Studies" is possible for students who achieve a pass in all the course units and achieve 80% attendance.
