Scottish National Equestrian Centre 


The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is the new state of the art venue for equestrian sports and Vaulting demonstrationactivities.

The SNEC boasts fantastic facilities, including 80m x 40m international 400-seater arena, 60m x 25m warm up arena, 110m x 80m outdoor turf arena, a 6-furlong all-weather gallop and a BE cross country course. In addition, we have stabling for up to 100 horses and full catering & conference facilities.

Events and conferencing


Future expansion will include extra outdoor arenas, rider gymnasium and enlarged restaurant areas.

SNEC is jointly funded by SportScotland, Scottish Enterprise and Oatridge College.

SNEC Riding School

SNEC Riding School runs every Monday 1pm - 9pm.  Different levels of riding lesson are offered, each lasting 1 hour:

Mondays 1pm - 9pm.  Different levels of riding lesson are offered, each lasting 1 hour:
Novice (ie. for those who cannot canter or jump) 
Intermediate (ie. for those who can canter and jump)
Advanced (ie. for those who can jump 3ft Approx. and do some Dressage)

Each of these sessions will cater for a maximum of 6 riders, with a lower age limit of 8 years old. Riders should bring their own riding hat and wear appropriate footwear.
