Scottish National Equestrian Centre
The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is the new state of the art venue for equestrian sports and
activities. The SNEC boasts fantastic facilities, including 80m x 40m international 400-seater arena, 60m x 25m warm up arena, 110m x 80m outdoor turf arena, a 6-furlong all-weather gallop and a BE cross country course. In addition, we have stabling for up to 100 horses and full catering & conference facilities.
Future expansion will include extra outdoor arenas, rider gymnasium and enlarged restaurant areas.
SNEC is jointly funded by SportScotland, Scottish Enterprise and Oatridge College.
Riding School - Lessons every Monday between 1pm -9pm
Different levels of riding lesson are offered, each lasting 1 hour: Each session will cater for a maximum of 6 riders, with a lower age limit of 8 years old. Riders should bring their own riding hat and wear appropriate footwear.
Novice - for those who cannot canter or jump
Intermediate - for those who can canter and jump
Advanced - for those who can jump 3ft approximately and do some Dressage
