Introduction
This course covers chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting & basic felling techniques up to tree diameter of 380mm.

5 days with an additional assessment day

What to bring
Candidates are expected to bring all their own protective clothing
- Boots - Chainsaw approved safety boots
- Leggings - all round protection (Type C)
- Helmet
- Gloves - Chainsaw approved gloves
- 15 Metre Logging Tape
You will also require a passport sized photograph for certification purposes. Most of the course takes place away from college so please bring packed lunches with you.
