ROLO Health & Safety Awareness

Introduction

Oatridge College has been appointed as the first Training Provider for the BALI ROLO card in Scotland.

It is of major importance that all workers in the landscaping industry have an understanding of health and safety legislation, which affects their working practices. Failure to comply with legislation is a criminal offence that is punishable by law; ignorance is no defence. This course brings to the attention of those attending the main features of the Acts, ACOPs and Guidance Notes relevant to their work situations.

The BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) ROLO Scheme (Registration of Landbased Operatives) is open to anyone who works in the Landbased Industry. Following completion of the one day ROLO landbased Health and Safety Scheme you are able to achieve a ROLO card or further to successfully undertaking the CSCS(Construction Skills Certification Scheme) touch screen test a LISS/CSCS card
