- Comply with legal requirements - emphasis on safe practices.
- Identify the risks associated with use of the equipment.
- Selection of appropriate PPE.
- Identification of the controls & components.
- Understand the function of all instruments.
- Carry out daily checks & basic maintenance.
- Carry out appropriate pre-start checks.
- Identify & report any faults.
- Adjustment of the cutting mechanism.
- Operation of the machine in a safe & competent manner.
- After use maintenance.
- Understand the requirements for travelling on public roads.
- Correct loading & transportation of equipment.
